Why this domain exists
People type chatpt all day. It is one missing letter on the way to
ChatGPT, and it survives spellcheck because it still looks like a word. Google quietly
corrects it. Bing does not. The result is a small ecosystem of lookalike pages,
download ads, and vague blog posts that describe a product which does not exist.
We are not going to pretend to be OpenAI. That would be both dishonest and a bad product. Instead, this site does two things the typo traffic actually needs: it turns a rough request into a usable prompt, and it explains how to use ChatGPT without the filler.
Who runs it
The site is written and maintained by the chatpt.chat editorial desk, an independent publisher. We are not OpenAI, we are not funded by OpenAI, and we do not sell access to ChatGPT. Our editorial page explains how pieces are researched, reviewed, and corrected.
We do not publish individual biographies; the editorial desk is the accountable author, and the contact inbox reaches it directly. What you can check is the process: every guide names its sources, states what was and was not tested, and carries a review date.
What you can verify
- Editorial standards — source hierarchy, review cadence, corrections policy.
- Changelog — dated changes, including corrections.
- Each guide’s “How this guide was checked” box and its source list.
- Contact — a working inbox, read by a person.
What we do not do
- We do not provide ChatGPT accounts, logins, or subscriptions.
- We do not run a model. The workbench is a text tool that runs in your browser.
- We do not ask for passwords, API keys, or payment details.
- We do not claim benchmarks we cannot reproduce.
- We do not print prices or limits that we cannot keep current.
Ownership and funding
chatpt.chat is an independent publication. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with OpenAI. Right now it carries no advertising, no affiliate links, and no paid placements. If that changes, the change will be labelled where it appears, and it will not alter a recommendation without a note.
There is no sponsored content on the guides, and no payment is accepted for a mention, a link, or a review. Inquiries that ask for one get no reply.

Corrections and questions: hello@chatpt.chat. For product issues, OpenAI’s own help centre is the only place that can resolve them.
